Collagen casings are sausage casings designed as a replacement for natural casings. They are available in calibers ranging from small to large. Collagen is frequently used when a completely uniform product is desired. In our range, you will find the smaller caliber segment in a variety of versions, depending on the specific type of product. The casings found here are edible and are best suited for sausages that are cooked and smoked, cold-smoked, and/or air-dried. There is also a specific variety for fresh sausages intended for subsequent frying or grilling. Note: A collagen casing should not be soaked before stuffing.
