Hog casings, a larger easy handled sausage skin. Hog casings are used for boiled, smoked, fried and grilled sausages. For fresh sausages which is only cooked in water, it´s recommended to peal off the casing before eating the sausage because of the rubbery texture. Hog casings are often used to grill sausages, Bratwurst, Kielbasa, Christmas sausages, pork sausages, lard sausages
